Reading the Size Labels

Half sizes. The letter "H" on a product page stands for a half size — 7H equals a US 7.5.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size; you can fine-tune with socks, insoles, or a lacing adjustment.
Two feet, one size. Always fit the larger foot — left and right feet often differ in length.

After youth (Big Kids') size 6, the next size up is US men's size 7 — children's sizing runs on its own scale, separate from adult sizing.

Sizing Tips for Kids

Measure both feet. Children's feet are often different sizes — always fit the larger foot.
Growing room. Allow a little space at the toe, but not so much that the foot slides while walking.
Re-measure every season. Young feet grow quickly, so check length before each new pair.

Which Size Should I Order?

Shop by your own scale. If a unisex style is listed in men's sizing, women usually order about 1.5 sizes smaller than their women's size — check the table above.
Measure instead of guessing. Foot length in centimeters is the most reliable way to pick a size across fits.
Fit varies by style. Construction and last differ between models, so always confirm on the individual product page.

How to Measure

Measuring your foot length is the most accurate way to find your size.

Foot Length

Place paper against a wall. Put a blank sheet of paper on the floor with one short edge touching the wall.
Stand with your heel to the wall. Stand on the paper with your heel lightly touching the wall.
Mark your longest toe. Mark where your longest toe ends — do both feet, and get help for an accurate straight-down mark.
Measure the distance. Measure from the wall (paper edge) to each mark in centimeters.
Match the larger foot. Take the longer of the two measurements and match it to the heel-to-toe column in the charts.

Measuring Tips

Measure wearing your preferred (average) socks — if you plan on extra-thick socks, account for that when choosing.
Feet swell during the day, so measure and try shoes on later in the day when feet are at their largest.
Feet can get bigger with age — re-measure your feet every year.
Since feet are three-dimensional, any two-dimensional tool such as a ruler can only approximate your size.

Original Fit	The iconic generous fit with extra space across the forefoot so toes can spread out — found in core styles such as Newport and Targhee.
Contoured Fit	A more traditional, closer fit that follows the shape of the foot — closer to a standard regular width.

General Sizing Rules

Half size up. As a general rule, go up half a size from your standard shoe size, then work from there.
Waterproof models. Styles with a water-resistant membrane can have less interior volume in the toe box, so sizing up is sometimes needed.
Between sizes? Choose the larger size — a more personal fit can then be dialed in with socks, insoles, or a different lacing pattern.
Fit history first. Your own experience with how shoes have fit is the best starting point when converting to a new brand.

Width & Narrow Feet

Generous width. Many styles run a bit wider than other brands thanks to the roomy forefoot design.
Adjustable lacing. Several sandal models use an adjustable bungee-cord lacing system that cinches securely over the top of the foot — a good option for narrower feet.
Try more than one pair. Because lasts differ between models, it helps to try several styles to find the best match.
